Marcele Linhares Viana is a Doctor (2015) and Master (2005) in Visual Arts - History and Critic of Art (PPGAV - EBA - UFRJ), and Interior Designer (2002) (EBA - UFRJ). She is currently a Professor at the Celso Suckow da Fonseca Federal Center of Technological Education - CEFET / RJ, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, where she teaches in technical, higher education and postgraduate courses in Tourism and Ethnic Race Relations. She is an Invited Professor at the postgraduate course in Interior Design at Veiga de Almeida University (UVA).
She is research group member Entresséculos (CNPq - MDJVI - EBA - UFRJ), she works in teaching, research and university extension projects on: art history, architecture history, decorative art, design, furniture, artistic teaching, Brazilian culture and cultural heritage.
